Log Cabin
1850's Log Cabin
Ceci Bauer always dreamed of owning an antique, square-hewn log cabin. After 20 years of crafting birch twig furniture with her business partner, Jack Batstone, Ceci discovered the perfect log cabin in Quebec. The cabin was part of a small Irish settlement in Canada circa 1840.
Ceci's dream started to take shape in 1997, when she decided to move the merchandise from her three-year old Harbor Springs store to her new location in Good Hart, Michigan (12 Miles North). What better place to feature unique furnishings than in a rustic log cabin? Now all Ceci needed to do was to dismantle, move and rebuild the Quebec building in Michigan.
Perseverance. Dedication. Vision. Artistry.
That's what it took to make Ceci's dream a reality.
