Good Hart & Soul Tea Room

Join us for a cup of tea

PEACE  &  SERENITY      Good Hart & Soul Tea Room opened in the summer of  2005.  Located in the back of Primitive Images, we are also serving tea on the outside deck and in the garden areas.

TEA TASTINGS                 The Tea Room offers tastings every day from 10-5:00.  Join us for a sampling of different teas every week.  Try pairing our teas with one of our delectable edibles from "Crooked Tree Breadworks"

We offer a large selection of Green, Black, White and Oolong loose leaf & bagged teas, as well as Herbal Tisanes.  Coffee, Iced Tea, Lavendar Lemonade, Smoothies and Frozen Tea Lattes round out the selection.

The Tea Room offers travelers and locals alike a place to experience a little touch of heaven. The slower pace of a cup of tea, the outdoors, and an old world ambiance provide a place to take it easy and to enjoy the serenity of Northern Michigan.

This year we are offering "Inspirational Teas"& Yoga weekly. Click here for more information and schedules. Programs

TEA BENEFITS                                                               Green tea gets all the attention, and its popularity skyrocketed further when it was featured as a weight loss method on the Oprah show. Green tea has been claimed to be helpful for atherosclerosis, LDL cholesterol, cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes, liver disease, neurodegenerative diseases and halitosis.

Black tea is originally green tea with the leaves further dried - this changes its color & taste. It further undergoes full fermentation & oxidation. Some studies have declared black tea a potential heart tonic, cancer blocker, fat buster, immune stimulant, arthritis soother, virus fighter and cholesterol detoxifier.

Herbal teas are a variety by themselves. Not tea in the true sense, herbal tea is a fresh herb containing medicinal properties, and these properties seep into the water & purportedly giving the drinkers the desired effect: laxative curative, refreshing, sedative or antacid.
